The predictions of many people that Gloria will run as a congresswoman were right. There’s actually no wrong about what she’ll run for this 2010 election, for the fact that there’s no such law that forbids an official to run for a lower position. It was actually already done by many political clans in many different provinces.
President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo runs for another position in the government, such as the lower position of congresswoman. That was quite surprising actually. Mrs. Arroyo who is running for the second congressional district of Pampanga, would be facing Adonis Simpao, who is an architect. I have read a blog that says, Pres. Arroyo’s plan when she will successfully be sitting in the congress would sit as the speaker, control the Kamara, press on CHA-CHA, makes our government a parliamentary, and be the Prime Minister, just a prediction but quite convincing. Is that for real? Should the people be worried about her candidacy? Well… It’s not gonna be a surprising one when she’ll be legally elected as a congresswoman for they have this so called “magic”, and I can say that this “magic” is inevitable in politics. I believe that it’s not gonna be that hard for her in the field of local politics, being the president was accomplished by her, what more in the Kamara, even without Garci.
I don’t think Gloria would get the trust of the many people. After her big issues that proved her crimes, NBN ZTE Scandal, Cheating in 2004 Elections (Hello Garci), Joc Joc Bolante Case (Fertilizer Scam, P728 Million), Swine Scam that was exposed by Atty. Harry Roque, and many more. She doesn’t deserve the trust of the mass. I don’t think that it would be a better thing as she runs for a congresswoman. Every time I think about political issues in our country, it just makes me feel in despair. But I always bear in mind that when there have been tyrants and murderers and for the time they seem invincible but in the end, they always fall. Think of it.

Prelim Exam
We’re done with our preliminary exam, at last. We were expecting it to be a sort of a complicated one thinking that the test paper consumes ten pages. That was said to us by Ma’am Lynnie last meeting. But I was surprise that it’s two pages only. It’s a sort of relief knowing that thing. There’s an essay writing included in the exam and I find it hard to write an essay at that time because I’m not in mood. And it took time for me to think of a certain topic for my essay, in the end I chose “Abortion” as a topic of mine, sounds common. Well, I just pray that I’ll pass the said exam and have a good grade. May God bless me.

Etched Trip in Dakak
I was still in third year high school when I’ve gone to the place named Dakak Island. We spent our grand reunion there for almost a week. In actual fact, I was amazed by the beauty of the place, its fine white sand, the cold seawater and pool, attractive places, freezing breeze of the wind, and of course those luscious food served to us. Every time I see those foods, it made me feel so starve, and its pungent smell causes my stomach to groan. Well, I must not waste time, so I ate a lot and feel every bite.
I’ve also experienced riding in a pump boat. The crew let us wear those life jackets, safety first. The mid-floor of the boat is a translucent glass that helps you see the under water. I saw various fish and gigantic coral reefs under water. And as we go on farther, the hygienic blue seawater became a green one. I almost don’t want to step out of the boat for I want another ride, but my mother would not let me. My cousins and I were only barefooted because we love to feel the fine white sand as we walk around the place. I’ve seen numerous sea urchins in that island and when you accidentally step on that, it would hurt you and causes a wound on your foot. And I was perplexed knowing that urine would help heal the wound. From knowing that, it causes me to feel petrified, so I started wearing my slippers thinking that I might accidentally step on that cluttered sea urchins. And I’m also scared that I’ll have wound and they would sprinkle urine on it (hehehe). But that sea urchins never stop us from admiring the place. But now, we've heard that no more sea urchins exist there. The cottages were also nice that you would feel comfortable staying on it. I can really say that, the place is really stunning one. And also seeing those good-looking coast guard added the beauty of the place. We slept in the sand, we just put a blanket and then lay down. Seeing those sparkling stars in the skies above, makes me stunned. And feeling the freezing breeze of the wind makes me solidify. We just stayed at the nearby water and waited till the sunset appears. And as we woke up, we’ve seen the sun as it rises, exquisite. The experience is really great, I hope that I can go back there and spend a day.

My First Week of 2010
Another fresh year is here, another year to live and have opportunities to right some wrongs. I was quite lazy in going to school in my first week this 2010, for I was still hang over in our celebrations as we say goodbye to 2009 and say hello to 2010. Of course, I still have to fight the laziness of mine and attend classes.
In our English II class, Ma’am Lynnie let us identify some sensory words pertaining to our five senses, if the word she’s saying belongs to the sight, smell, touch, taste and hear. Well, that was quite complicated because the words given by Ma’am Lynnie were new to my hearings. But at least I have answered few words correctly. And in our next meeting, we’ve shared one sensory word that we have researched and identify its meaning. Ma’am Lynnie also let us think about a certain topic for our term paper that is related to our courses. Thank God I already have a topic, since I’m taking up the course IT, my topic is merely about software. Our prelim exam would be this coming Friday, we hope it’s not going to be a complicated one. Good luck to all of us.

Christmas of Mine
Christmas for me is an odd time when all I wanted is to feel happy and enjoy the moment, to spend my whole attention and time with my family and to be loved by them. It’s also the time of giving, forgiving and loving, because in that day, was the day when our Almighty God was born and where everyone was in peace of mind.
Sadly, I wasn’t able to complete the misa de gallo, I was just able to attend the mass only trice. The month of December for me is an exciting one, it’s not just celebrating Christmas but also celebrating the day of my birth for I was legally recognized individual on December 20, 1992. Our family celebrated Christmas the way where we are used to. We attended the mass and eat together during the Noche Buena. We also have some of my cousins coming from Davao City who celebrated Christmas with us. And that makes our Christmas more meaningful. When the clock tick-tacks at 12midnight, we started praying, asking forgiveness and thanking God. Well, it really gives me a distorted and a big smile in my face seeing those favorite and yummy foods placed in our rounded table. After praying and giving thanks to our dear God, we started tearing and eating those yummy fried chickens, crispy pata, pork, pastas and many more prepared by my Mamala, the best cook in my eyes. I’m so full that it makes me feel like my tummy will burst, I still want to eat a lot but there’s no more space for more new chewed food. We went out the house to see those nice and sparkling fireworks in the skies above.
My family and I just celebrated Christmas in that simple way, and that simple way of celebrating it seemed to be one of the happiest days in this year. What’s important is our family’s together, full of love, celebrating it happily, praying together, despite of their busy days of work. And I really think that this day would be the time where I should cherish every happenings we’ve done. We believe in the saying that, “A family that prays together, stays forever.”
